Kutlwano is a monthly magazine published by the Department of Information Services. It is the country’s oldest magazine having first hit the newsstands in 1962. It is a family magazine published mainly in Setswana and English and contains cultural news, entertainment and feature articles.
The magazine is available in all the department’s 24 offices across the country. You can also find it in some shops and is also sold by street vendors.
20 000 copies are printed monthly. Printing is outsourced to private printers

Subscription fee is P55 per year. You can also download subscription on the online magazine and submit to Department of Information services. You will be able to pay online after the facility to do that has been completed.
