Mmaspherere wa makhirikhiri volume 1 is a comedy drama series approximately 72 minutes long. The language used is both Setswana and English making the drama very interesting and suitable for all ages. “Modimo wa tshwaro”, this is what Rumba – one of the main actors would say before or after every sentence. Mmaspherere is set in a mixed-up location of Tsolamosese, one of Gaborone city areas which arose from the shanties. Skin – Flint! This is the exact and suitable word to describe Rumba. He would rather spend small amounts of his earnings on girlfriends than buy food for his wife Mmaspherere and son Botoro. Modimo wa tshwaro! This man is so stingy it hurts. It is survival of the fittest at Rumba’s house. Every dog fends for itself. Tjho! Poor figureless turner syndrome stricken woman, Mmaspherere is now the city’s mockery. This comedy drama is worth watching. Do not deprive yourself.
