Mr Abdul Rose’s eight-track Pop-Rock album - Christina , is not perfect but deserves attention. He is sonically interesting and you can easily tell that he is greatly influenced by artistes such as Michael Jackson, Carlos Santana, The talking Heads, Pet Shop boys, The Police, Mick Jagger, title tracks of kiddies’ programmes like Denver the last Dinasour and the 80’s, Kids Incoperated. All the above mentioned artistes’ song beats and rhythms can be heard in Abdul Rose’s songs. What is more fascinating is the effort made in the arrangement of the melodies and instrumentals. The voice needs training, on a serious note. Not bad for a first timer.
