Nama ya Podi (serves 5 people)
2 kg Goat meat
1 litre water
Pinch of salt
Method
1) Put meat on the pot add water and salt
2) Boil for 30 minutes and then simmer for 1 hour or till cooked
3) Fry until brown and serve
Mogodu/Tripe Stew (Serves 5 People)
3 kg mogodu wa kgomo (tripe)
3 kg mala a kgomo (casings)
Pinch of Salt
Beef stock
Method
1) Wash Mogodu and mala a kgomo thoroughly and cut into pieces
2) Place into pot and boil for about 2 hours or until well cooked, soft and tender
3) Add salt and season with beef stock and simmer
4) Remove from heat when water level has greatly decreased and covering base of the pot, then let it cool and use kitchen shears to cut into fine pieces
5) Return to low heat and simmer
6) Then serve with Bogobe jwa lerotse or mealie meal
