Ribs & Wings (Serves 4)

Ingredients

20 precooked pork ribs

16 chicken wings

Ribs Marinade

Chicken Marinade

(Ribs marinade)

Ingredients

2 tablespoon chopped garlic

1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger

½ finely chopped onion

2 tea spoons finely chopped lemon grass

2 tablespoon olive oil

Salt & pepper

2 can coca cola

(Chicken marinade)

Ingredients

1 cup olive oil

2 table spoon balsamic vinegar

2 table spoon tomato puree

1 table spoon Worcester sauce

2 tea spoon crushed red chilly

1 tea spoon finely chopped ginger

½ cup lemon juice

Pinch of Salt & pepper to taste

 

Method of Preparation

 

  1. Heat a thick bottomed pan and add olive oil.
  2. Sauté onion, garlic, ginger, and lemon grass on low heat till onion is translucent but not browned.
  3. The add pork ribs and mix well. Add Coca Cola and put on high heat and reduce till sticky, stirring occasionally.
  4. Then add salt & pepper to taste.
  5. For chicken wings, prepare chicken marinade by combining all of its ingredients and cover wings with it. Marinade for 2 hours.
  6. Then bake wings at 180 degrees c for 20 minutes basting once with remaining marinade after 10 minutes.
  7. Serve with a fresh garden salad and French fries.
