Dad is a loving responsible, intelligent, funny, strong, caring, independent witty good looking man.

The list is really endless. I would like to believe I possess the character traits of my awesome father Leruo “Ace” Gaesi.

That`s my daddy! I love him so much, I would not trade him for anything in the world, not even for a date the oh so hunky Christiano Ronaldo.

As I already mentioned before, I am pretty looking and no doubt, I got my charming looks from my handsome father. I must admit, I wish he still had his sexy six packs like he did when he was still in the army.

Then of course he resigned, gained weigh t and became a business man.

Although, nothing beats that fat old belly of his, I sleep on it all time and lets just say, it`s the next best thing after sliced  bread! At 46 years of age, he is handsome, clean, shiek kind of man.

My mum did good for herself.

Don`t get me wrong, looks are not everything but who wants an ugly unattractive husband? I sure don`t! Who wants giving birth to ugly children on their conscious?

My dad is a loving, humble, caring family man. He has a great relationship with mum and his children. Any idiot can tell that he is smittens over my mum.

They have been married for over 15 years but the way he looks into her eyes, so cute! I hope to be married to a man that is just like dad. He has been nothing but the perfect father.

Dad has given me so many  life lessons and “small talks” that have moulded me and guided me to be strong, independent person I am today.

One cannot help but love him! He is like a superman without underpants. His friendly, bubbly, talkative self always comes up during family gatherings. He always has an interesting story to tell and his pride and huge ego always crop up in his stories. Like the time he told us about how he won my mum`s heart.

Apparently, my dad wrote a charming, romantic love letter to mum who instantly fell in love with dad.

Like any other good father, dad is very strict!  Along with being extremely over protective, he is very stern and it is either his way or highway! I remember the time he took me to the hospital when I was very sick, him and the receptionist at the hospital were having conversation about how teenager killed his ex girlfriend then committed suicide.

He went on about and on about how teens today are in relationships, and how wrong it is. On that same breath, he turned to meand said, “If you ever get into a romantic relationship at this age, I will hang you in a tree wit a pantyhose!” I was not sure if he was serious, but lets just say my crush on a certain Theodore  Modise in my class, quickly disappeared.

One hard, stern look from my father is enough. I know he is being hard on me because has my best interest at heart.
To add the icing on the cake, dad is very cook. Nothing in this world taste as awesome as his famous traditional tripe and pap. He bakes and cooks all the time.

Dad is like the latest vacuum cleaner, all in one! He does it all! Like I already said before, he is a superman without the underpants. He cleans too. A very neat and tidy man.

It pains me to say that dad drinks and smokes. I always pray that he stops because it is ruining his health. I want my father to see me graduate with my masters` degree at Oxford University, and I also want him to walk me down the aisle.

My biggest fear is that this will not happen if he continues to drink and smoke. It is disheartening to watch a man who I love so much puff years of his life away.

I always have to bear witness to the pain in my mother`s eyes after he goes on a drinking spree, and it is not a good sight.

One day the good Lord will answer my prayers and that will stop drinking and smoking. I really hope that, that day will be soon.

Yes my father is not perfect and just like every human being, he has his “moments” and is not flawless but I love him for who and what he is.

Not a lot of people are as fortunate as I am to have  a father in their lives, but thankfully I am blessed with one heck of awesome dad who has loved, guided, supported, protected and nurtured me to be the fine, independent, smart young lady I am today. Ends
