A: I believe they bring me good luck and a smile on my face. Every morning I take a glance at the mirror. In addition the beards make me look oder.
Q: Why do you call yourself “mosimane wa Bokone Bophirima?”
A: When people arrive in the city from rural areas they want to be associated with major tribes. Ba tlhabiwa ke kgala ba bo ba ipitsa Bakgatla, Bangwaketse… I pride myself with where I come from.
Q: Growing up in a rural village, how do you manage city life?
A: At first it was really tough because I was not used to renting but then I opted to stay in a cheaper house and things got better because I started freelancing while still a student at Limkokwing.
Q: Has radio and television been always your passion?
A: I fell in love with radio at a tender age that at one stage during my junior school days I used to call myself Fundamental.

A: When I appeared in newspaper front pages for allegations that eventually turned out to be false. I was really hurt because my family was disappointed.
Q: Your highest moment?
A: Now. I am excited about going to China in August to attend the Youth Olympics Games. I managed to beat other journalists in interviews and I will be the only one representing Africa.
Q: How did you get this name Lovemore Mario?
A: It is my birth name and at home I am nicknamed Lovey. Lovemore pronounced “Luveemore” is an Angolan name meaning Tebogo and Mario is my grandfather who originates from Angola.

A: No! Hey! But this name has worked for me while I was a primary school student because girls loved me.

A: Papa and boiled fresh fish
Q: Your favourite music and why?
A: House because I am a good dancer. Ha ke le mo staging ke sutelwa mo sekeleng.
Q: Your favourite sport and why?
A: Athletics because I used to participate in track events while a student at Gantsi Senior. And it was the only sport from where I come from thus I developed so much love for it.
Q: Do you know how to cook?
A: Cook? Yes
Q: Would you cook for your wife if you were married?
A: Yes
Q: Would you do her laundry?
A: NO! The way we have been raised from where I come from, a man does not do laundry for a woman because of a view that the woman would have given the man some concoctions not to think straight. Ends
