It has been a whirlwind of wins for Amantle Brown, the multi-talented and award-winning songstress whose 2025 has been nothing short of extraordinary.
From dazzling on international stages to launching new ventures, embracing sobriety, and leaning deeper into faith, Amantle’s evolution is a testimony to grace, grit and growth.
Earlier this year, the singer made a landmark appearance at the London Billboard Awards, her most high-profile stage yet.
Held from June 4 to 5, the event saw her share the spotlight with African music giants like Tems, representing Botswana as a creative sector ambassador.
Her participation was made possible through support from the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) and Global Venture Partners, solidifying her place as one of the leading voices in Botswana’s entertainment export.
“Such a big deal, right?” she says with a glowing smile. “I was so shocked when I got picked. At that point in my life and career, things felt incredibly unfair, like nothing good could happen. But this… this was God.”
Over the years, Amantle has won awards, released multiple hits, and now, she is solidifying her digital presence with the launch of her official music website.
The new platform gives fans exclusive access to her latest album, Heart in a Note, produced by Simz Records. With over 4 000 unique visitors already, it is clear that fans are hungry for more.
“When we launched it, the reception was really good. Now the work continues. We have to build trust, reassure people that this is their space to connect with me and my music,” she says.
Heart in a Note features eight soul-stirring tracks, including a live band rendition of Black Mampatile and acoustic versions of beloved songs like Busa, all revealing the depth of her artistry.
But Amantle is not just creating music; she is cooking up something new and heartfelt.
Her upcoming digital show, Cooking with Amantle Brown, is set to blend culinary expression with emotional storytelling.
In each episode, a guest will join her in the kitchen to prepare a meaningful dish while opening up about their personal journey, be it triumph, trauma, love or loss.
“I just want stories to be told through this show,” she shares. “Whether they are uplifting or emotional, one thing is certain, this is a purpose-driven project.”
Adding to her ever-expanding portfolio, Amantle was recently unveiled as the brand ambassador for Etner Cosmetics, a globally present beauty line with roots in Canada, the United States, South Africa, and now Botswana.
But among all these milestones, Amantle is most proud of one deeply personal triumph: six months of sobriety.
“I was just all over the place,” she reflects. “Drinking, smoking and partying! It became a lifestyle that made me feel lost and spiritually disconnected.”
The turning point came when she replaced those habits with a renewed focus on faith, prayer, and clarity; practices now evident in her social media presence, where she often prays for her fans’ success and engages warmly in the comments, offering support to those who reach out.
“When you remove alcohol, which is a distraction and replace it with God and purpose, everything starts falling into place,” she notes.
What is next for her? She says she has surrendered to divine guidance.
“I’m trusting what God places in my mind,” she says with quiet confidence. “And whatever that is, I’m going to do it.” From a soulful singer to a bold businesswoman, and now, a woman grounded in faith and purpose, Amantle’s journey is no longer just about hits and fame. It is about healing, wholeness and reminding every dreamer that it’s never too late to become new. ENDS
