How time flies! We are almost into the winter season of a new year. The summer and autumn seasons seem to have been intertwined. The summer is done and the autumn is about to be dusted.
Today, we bring you the February-March 2026 edition with a great cover. A wedding cover! Not just an ordinary wedding. A cabinet ministers wedding!! Very historic I must say!
We can dig deep from the archives, but we will not be able to find anything coming close to this rare occurrence. Enjoy reading this wonderful article of the coming together of a man and a woman, an acting minister and an assistant minister as well as their families to become one.
It is inspiring; especially at a time when statistics indicate that the marriage institution is under siege in this country. Marriages are dissipating; families torn apart and children grow up doubting or not knowing the importance of marriage.
We also bring you a feature story of one of the country’s buzzing places, Mogoditshane. You can find almost everything from the semi-urban village, which has existed on the doorsteps of the capital city for years.
This edition seems to be just roving around Gaborone with another interesting article about the Batlokwa celebrations of their more than 100 years existence in their one and only village of Tlokweng.
There is also a bit of history as we look into the significance of Samora Machel Museum in Lobatse, the country’s first town.
In an era of technology over-use, we also look at the good and bad of always having headphones on. We also touch on a problem affecting women, bacterial vaginosis and help to explain it in a medical practitioner’s vocabulary.
We also touch on the topical Constitutional Court. There is also agro processing of seswaa article, at a time when many are unable to slaughter cattle freely due to the Foot and Mouth Disease situation.
Overall, the edition is what you will really enjoy at a time like this. Ipalele o je monate!
